- Or a divine being such as a god or goddess.
About Darshan:
The word darshan, also spelled darśana, is derived from Sanskrit दर्शन, which is divine sight, to see, or glimpse. Darshan is experiencing divinity, by seeing or being seen. Darshan is the beholding divinity with a deity (especially in image form), a revered person or sacred object.
My dearest friend in India, who calls me Grandmaa Noel, like many others in his country, treasures his pilgrimages to various temples to engage in darshan which piqued my interest and furthered my practice of darshan.
It is written that darshan is also imparted by gurus (personal spiritual teachers) to their followers, by rulers to their subjects, and by objects of veneration such as pilgrimage shrines to their visitors.
One can receive darshan by beholding a deity or icon in a temple, a church, or in one’s sacred space in front of a home altar with a photo of a deity. It's written that the experience is often mutual and may result in the viewer’s receiving a blessing such as manifestation of healing, elevating spiritual consciousness or for many bliss.

When we are in darshan we behold our deity with reverence with our eyes, there is no need for long prayer, mantras, ritual, or worship, which is why I channeled this system, especially for my students wanting to connect to deities, gods and goddesses and even sacred objects without ritual and fanfare and it is amplified in the light frequency of 999.
