Introduction

The manual continues, "According to legend, Cyprian of Antioch from an early age learnt and practiced diverse types of ancient magic before his conversion to Christianity".
"Cyprian of Antioch is not to be confused with theologian Saint Cyprian the Bishop of Carthage. Cyprian of Antioch was born of impious parents, was a believer of and practiced esoteric magical traditions prior to being ordained a high priest and later venerated as a Catholic Saint".

He penned a Grinomium, the venerated Book of Cyprian (Rituals of Arcane magic) he is also attributed to writing exorcism rites and prayers for the Church.
